Establishing Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube channels for a national company. Then creating content and scheduling posts and ad on an ongoing basis.
Description
I worked with the Marketing Manager to research which social media channels the target market used and then created a posting schedule of that would help establish Alforex Seeds as the expert for alfalfa and forage. We started with Facebook, then added YouTube and LinkedIn. I also established a Vimeo channel to house the recordings of their educational presentations that could be used by their dealers.
Challenges
I had to depend on the District Sales Managers for photos and videos that they captured on their phones. Often times they call me and let me know what they were taking photos of and then I would have to write a story for social media. I also would investigate the impact posts and ads had using the channels reports and also using Google Analytics.
